Data Science Analytics Leader

PerkinElmer has achieved a global market leading position with its OneSource Laboratory Services business offering a wide portfolio of service practices. OneSource Technology Services is a strategic pillar of the portfolio and is expected to drive a significant growth vector for the business. Part of this expansion includes a PerkinElmer OneSource digitization initiative in high growth capability areas such as asset utilization, equipment & lab remote monitoring, remote service, and predictive/prescriptive analytics. We desire senior leadership to create the analytics game plan and execution motions that leverage the existing service and operational data assets from the OneSource Program along with new IoT connected data streams that we are developing.


This work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced modeling and data science skillsets. The role reports to the OneSource Director of Global Technology Solutions and will be responsible for developing comprehensive data analysis, modeling methods, and predictive analytics leading to the realization of new insights that materially impact our customers lab productivity, throughput, science, and cost footprint. This individual will also be a primary contributor to the investigation, evaluation, and selection input of a Machine Learning / AI platform. You will own plans and priorities, actively work with customers and our field teams to drive new predictive / prescriptive into our clients business, and have overall accountability for the success of the PerkinElmer OneSource predictive analytics initiative. This is a leadership position that is involved in strategic decision-making that has a significant impact on the success of the overall function/technical area.
