Work in a Stable Service with Low Caseloads

A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Complex Support Planning service. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a stable service where caseloads are kept low with locums being drafted into the service if they breach 20 or more. The team work with service users above the age of 25 who present with a range of co-morbidity's and require specialist packages of care. Due to the nature of the cases the role is quite interesting with Social Workers developing their clinical practice as well as social work skills

This team benefits from a capped caseload which means Social Workers aren't over burdened and are able to focus on each individual case. The team is managed by a proactive manager who will draft in additional locum staff to help buffer cases in the event of a rapid increase in the caseloads.

Working in the service you will be encouraged to reflect on your practice and you will be empowered by your Team Manager to make decisions with support from your peers. Social Workers in the team do not feel at risk and are able to manage their caseloads.

To be considered for this post you should have experience of working within Adult services.
