Job Details

My client, one of the world leader in the life sciences sector, is looking for a driven person to manage the team on the France sector for one of its division. It is a one in a lifetime opportunity to join a company among which you will progress and open yourself to opportunities all over Europe!

In this position, you will manage a team of 3 to 4 sales representative based in Paris and Lyon and covering the whole sector. Your role will have different dimensions:
The first and main one will be the business development and management part. You will have to implement sales standarts, optimize business across the division, monitor market shares, take care of your own sales territory etc. This will help you develop not only your sales and management skills but also your organisation and management of projects as a team.

You will also have to care about the different relationships across departments and make the link with marketing as well as financial services to coordinate as best as possible. In addition to these relations across services, you will be in contact on a European level with a direct report to the European Sales Manager based abroad and collaboration with your colleagues in Europe.

This position is of course a key one for my client and as a result, the criteria to fit are quite high, you will need:
- A strong background in the life sciences sector with an experience of at least 5 years
- A previous experience in sales on this sector with relations established with the main actors of the sector and a great knowledge of my clients' competitors
- Fluent French and English are mandatory to communicate with the different teams
- Either a previous management position or a proven capacity of organisation and great interpersonal skills
- Solid PC skills and knowledge of how to use CRMs
