Expert Technical Sales Engineer Automotive & Transport (m / w)

Work alongside expert commercial sales team with approx. 10 employees and one sales manager. You will work closely with the technical support staff of the customers for the transport & metal sector and look after the automotive suppliers and their respective ones in Germany.

My client is the world leader in adhesives and surface treatments. Although often barely noticed, they are almost universal with our products. They create real added value for our customers in a wide variety of industrial segments with tailor-made technologies.

Your Tasks:

* Business development with direct customers (surface technology, cleaners, lubricants) in the focus area Central Germany.
* Market and competition observation, complaint handling, preparation of market and competition analyses.
* Sales and sales planning.
* Commencement and delivery of experiments under production conditions.
* Introduction of innovative, new products with appropriate documentation.
* Review of contract terms and contract negotiations.
* Annual price negotiations and conducting price discussions.
* Close cooperation with internal product development departments and technical service departments
* Work alongside relevant steering units and other central departments, intensive cooperation with the entire sales team for Germany, BeNeLux and Switzerland

Required Skills:

* Completed chemical-technical studies

* 5 years professional experience desired, eg technical field service and / or development / application technology in the above mentioned technology areas

* Experience in project management and dealing with automotive and supplier customers

* Communicative personality with high motivation and independence as well as teamwork, flexibility, resilience and self-confidence

* Goal-oriented work, persuasiveness and integrity as well as negotiation skills, structured thinking and acting with economic understanding

* Driving license class B, computer and extensive English language skills
