Job Details
The applicant must have a strong semiconductor process development background and device fabrication with some experience in photonic and semiconductor design, modelling suites and CAD layout such as Silvaco, Matlab, Photon design, Lumerical and Ledit.
The applicant must also have a background in laboratory experimentation with critical evaluation and interpretation of data. It is expected that they will hold a PhD* or equivalent qualification related to semiconductor processing or integrated photonics. Experience in Silicon Germanium, Silicon processing and device fabrication is critical.
This post is Part time fixed term up to 1 years duration.

Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon completion of PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
