Job Details

You will have a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications in Medical or Biostatistics, hold, or be about to obtain, an MSc in Medical Statistics or closely related discipline. A working knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS, Stata, SAS or R is essential, as is the ability to communicate and work with non-statisticians.

2 year fixed term contract with possibility of extension.

Depending on experience the position will be appointed at either Research Fellow grade, Level 4 - £29,799 to £36,613 per annum or a Senior Research Fellow grade, Level 5 - £37,706 to £42,418.

Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification.The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD.Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
