Senior Application Engineer - East Midlands - Work Closely with the Director(s)
Undertake the front-end engineering design and proposal generation for the assigned projects allocated to the Applications Engineer.
Job Specification
* Ensuring that you provide the necessary services and support the Project Managers.
* Provide a technical engineering support to new and existing customers.
* Provide front end engineering concept designs and technical support.
* Creating, developing and maintaining positive customer relationships and partnerships, both internally and externally.
* Technical approach with proposals and be directly involved with product development and product improvement.
As a senior applications engineer you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Director, which will enable you to communicate with experts within the range of markets my client has to offer. This will allow you to build a network and positive relationships, aiding your chances in future similar roles.

Education/Qualifications
Essential Requirements
* Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Qualification to HND level or equivalent.
Desirable
* Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Qualification to Degree level or equivalent.
Experience
Essential
* Over 5 years experience of working in a technical engineering position.
* Personal experience of working in an Engineering or Manufacturing business.
* Proven track record of success.
Desirable
* Experience of working in similar Engineering or Manufacturing business related to gas turbines.
* Experience of working in similar Engineering or Manufacturing business related to noise control or air filtration products.
