Engineer - Berlin - Career Development

My client is currently looking for an engineer to join their growing team in a town very close to the German Capital city, Berlin. The idea candidate will have to have experience in the automotive industry, as well as plastics technology. This role will be within the exciding research and development department of this company.

The company is situated in a rural area just outside of Berlin. It is a really peaceful place to work, so if you have had a stressful day you can relax before heading back to the big city. The big draw of the company is that they will give you the chance to live in Berlin. The German capital is on of the most diverse and popular cities in the whole of Germany. The are many acitive places to go; such as the Olympiastadion, or if you want some peace and quiet, there are lovely parks to sit back and relax in. If you are planning on relocationg here, it will not be a problem and you will be able to ease into Berlin life easily!

You will need to have experience in plastic engineering, if you do, you are ideal for this job! they will offer you the chance to develop your career. You could be a team leader in the future giving you great career prospects and will look good on your CV.

You will need to be a specialist in injection moulding. this is a very bespoke way of engineering. It is also very innovative, meaning that you will be working and using different techniques on a daily basis, making day-to-day tasks interesting and everyday will be a challenge for you.

Responsibilities.

• Support of new products in the production of hybrid parts made of plastic and metal for the automotive and household appliance industry.
• Development and introduction of manufacturing processes in the area of injection mouldings technology.
• Sampling of injection moulds and definition of new process parameters.

Your Profile.

• 5 years automotive experience
• Several years experience in plastic mouldings and injection moulding
• Good English language skills, fluency in German is critical.
• In depth knowledge in the field of automotive technology.
