Job Details
ERINHA’s legal entity – International Non-Profit Association – was set up by its founding members in July 2017 in Belgium with is legal address in Brussels. Since this date ERINHA entered into implementation phase which will last one year, after which the European research infrastructure aims to be fully operational.
The access to the ERINHA’s member research facilities and expertise is provided through the Central Coordinating Unit (CCU), hosted in Paris at Inserm HQs – scientific coordinator of ERINHA preparatory phases and ERINHA AISBL hosting organization.
The CCU is the access point for external users and funding bodies, it shall coordinate the research programmes, shall ensure the scientific follow-up of projects, and shall provide all support functions for the Association's operation and functioning: administrative management, financial and HR support, communication and external relations etc.
The CCU is in charge of the daily administration and bookkeeping of the Association (convening of meetings, finance reporting, etc.) and assisting the ERINHA’s Director General. It aims to provide all relevant services to Members and will ensure common knowledge and know how management under the supervision of the ERINHA’s Director General and decision-making bodies.
ERINHA AISBL is looking to hire a Scientific Project Manager to join its Central Coordinating Unit Office in Paris, France.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Scientific Project Manager you will be responsible for ERINHA research programmes management and reporting. You will also largely contribute to ERINHA project proposals writing and editing.
DUTIES/ FUNCTIONS
Reporting directly to the Director General, the postholder will be responsible for ERINHA research projects’ general management, scientific follow-up and monitoring, as well as for scientific communication. Along with the DG he/she will also carry out the primarily evaluation procedures of the research projects under the ERINHA RI.
The responsibilities will include, notably:
- To participate in writing and editing project proposals of ERINHA RI
- To conduct the project monitoring process and perform periodical evaluations of ERINHA scientific activities.
- Scientific and administrative management of ERINHA EU funded projects, reporting to the EC.
- To run, along with the Director General, the evaluation process for the applying projects under ERINHA RI (by external users of the ERINHA RI), including: eligibility check, review of ethical and scientific criteria as well as checking the feasibility of the project together with the national Nodes (national research facilities)
- To contribute to the definition of the scientific and ethical criteria to be used within the evaluation and operational procedures of the applying projects.
- To contribute to the design of the protocol, to ensure compliance with the agreed formal requirements for project evaluation.
- To participate in technical upgrades and development of the ERINHA RI facilities.
- To provide advice and scientific expertise to the Director General, General Assembly and Governing Board, on the research activities of ERINHA.
- To provide a scientific contribution for the communication contents/tools.
- To co-organise practical training in the relevant research fields for internal and external users.
- To contribute to in-house structural research projects in collaboration with ERINHA RI relevant networks.
