What would you say to the opportunity to redevelop the Pharmacovigilance department for one of the Industry's largest company's?

Based in Harlow my client is looking for a Head of Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety. Someone who can bring a vast knowledge of pharmacovigilance to the table and the can do attitude to take control of their PV operations and take them to the next level. Strong as they are already the organisation wants to make improvements to be the very best. There will be freedom to develop and deliver strategic leadership for the PV services. You will cast your keen eye over the current set up and develop, implement and maintain working practices.

This opporuntity to work in such a large organisation and make such an impact in the Pharmacovigilance department is a very rare opportunity. This experience can be a fantastic platform to launch yourself into Global PPV roles and above in the future, not many people can say that they developed PV practices on this scale.

You will start with a small team of 3-4 direct but with potential to grow both personally and in terms of team members if you feel that is what is best for the department. Speaking of the department, they operate a open office environment, allowing you to be on the front line with your team, mentoring and working face to face with everyone, creating a fantastic environment to learn and collaborate on various projects.

To be eligable for this role the candidate will have to have the following experience:

  • Educated to degree level (Bachelors or Masters) in a relevant discipline.
  • Extensive experience working within the Pharmacovigilancei Industry.
  • Proven People management skills
  • Experience working at a senior level in a healthcare organisation
