Job Details

We are seeking to appoint a talented researcher with expertise in research implementation and interested in working on a range of topics in the NIHR CLAHRC West (https://clahrc-west.nihr.ac.uk/). This post will support research implementation led by Dr Sabi Redwood, Deputy Director of CLAHRC West. The post-holder will be based in Population Health Sciences within Bristol Medical School at the University of Bristol, with a desk in Whitefriars, Lewins Mead. The post will be available until 31 December 2018 in the first instance

 

The post holder will conduct research and support activities aiming to

  • Ensure that CLAHRC West and other applied health research studies have maximum impact on clinical practice and policy, and
  • Promote evidence-informed decision-making about the design, organisation and delivery of health, social care and public health services.

 

The post will suit researchers with relevant training or experience of undertaking health services or applied health research. Knowledge and understanding of at least one of the following: implementation science methodology, knowledge mobilisation, or quality improvement would also be highly beneficial. Applicants will want to develop and extend their careers by undertaking a number of different projects and gaining experience in implementation of research techniques.
