A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their redesigned Life Planning service which amalgamates Children's and Adult's services

This is a newly formed service which focuses on complex cases with service users normally presenting with a range of medical issues. The nature of the post means that Social Workers in the team have excellent levels of practice and with this experience you will be regarded as an extremely capable Social Worker which will increase future employability drastically.

The service works with service users across the age range which covers young adults and adults, similar to that of a Transitions team. The role focuses around supporting service users to become self reliant and self supportive wherever possible in their adult life.

As this is a relatively new service the Local Authority are looking for confident workers who are able to contribute to the development of the service. The senior management team will be engaging with all levels of the service to plan for the future of the service and therefore your feedback will be especially valued and you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the service.

To be considered for this post you should have experience of working across Adult's and Children's services in the capacity of a Social Worker. You should also be confident with holding a complex caseload.
