Job Details

Are you passionate about research that will benefit the lives of cancer patients?

Do you have the skills and experience to manage a multi-centre research programme?

Are you enthusiastic about leading and supervising colleagues?

We are looking for an experienced researcher to lead the day-to-day delivery of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded eRAPID programme and support the management of the Section of Patient Centred Outcomes Research (PCOR). The eRAPID programme is focussed on the development and evaluation of a web-based symptom reporting intervention to support cancer patients during treatment. Based in Bexley Wing (St James’s University Hospital campus), you will primarily oversee the delivery and completion of the ongoing randomised controlled trial in systemic cancer treatment and contribute to the radiotherapy and surgical strands of the programme where needed.
