The post-holder will be involved in a project assessing the response to chemotherapy in adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients
Person Specification
- Experience working in a clinical diagnostic laboratory
- HCPC registered Healthcare Scientist
- Practical experience of working with human blood products and white blood cell isolation/cryopreservation
- Applying multi-parameter flow cytometry as a technique to study white blood cells
- Work to Good Clinical Practice in the laboratory standards
- Experience in performing validation and/or verification of a flow cytometry test and demonstrate good understanding of quality control in a flow cytometry laboratory
- Ability to understand data analysis and to present data effectively
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers and healthcare scientists
