Hours: 22.5 hours across 40 weeks, dropping to 17.5 hours across summer and Christmas vacation.
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday
7.45-12.15 for 40 weeks per annum and 7.45-11.15 for 12 weeks per annum during the summer and Christmas vacation. This includes Good Friday, Easter Monday, Easter Closure Tuesday, May Day Bank Holidays, August Bank Holiday Monday, August Closure Tuesday and January 2 where it falls on a Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
This post will support the delivery of front line services at the Arts and Social Sciences Library during the busy core hours of the day. Working from service points and roving this role offers support for basic enquires at the point of need. This role carries out re-shelving and processing of book stock to ensure timely availability of resources for customers. This role also offers roving support at Senate House Study Centre, Hawthorns Study Centre, Biological Sciences and Physics libraries that includes carrying out headcounts to record occupancy data and checking that the spaces are clean and fully functioning.
