The Division of Information Technology Services (ITS) at The University of Queensland provides an information environment that supports the teaching, learning, research and engagement objectives of the University and contributes positively to the student experience and the University’s reputation, in line with our values of focusing on timely outcomes, delivering value, continuously improving and supporting each other. It delivers network, systems and IT infrastructure support to the University, and application development. Also located within ITS is the internationally recognised network security group, AusCERT, which provides Internet security services throughout Australia and New Zealand. ITS manages core networks not only for the whole of The University of Queensland but also works with other Queensland universities to manage access to the national university network (AARNet). ITS also operates research computing infrastructure and hosts many of the University’s largest servers.

The role
Records Management Services,as a part of ITS, is responsible for the University’s corporate records management systems.  The systems ensure that complete, accurate and reliable records are captured and maintained for as long as they are needed to support the University's business activities, accountability requirements, and to meet UQ & community expectations.  The position is expected to work as part of a team to provide high level software administration and technical support on a number of projects.

The primary duties include –

  • provide technical administration and support for EDRMS – HP Content Manager 9.1;

  • provide technical administration and support for other systems and APIs.

 

The person

Applicants should possess qualifications and training equivalent to a degree level qualification in information technology, information management or related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.  They should have demonstrated high level of computer literacy, including ability/aptitude and knowledge of the functions available in TRIM, the administration of this system and software support.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $81,883 to $89,559 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5%
