Senior VP/EVP- Business Development- EU Licensing/Acquisitions, fast growing pharmaceutical company with already established products and revenues looking to expand their EU business.

*In late stages*

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast paced pharmaceutical company who have major expansion plans for 2018 and 2019. Critical to this will be having an experienced pharmaceutical executive who can lead deals for investment strategy and key diligence tasks. There will be a focus on large value deals and there will be significant scope for adding value within the business. This client is one I have worked with now for close to 5 years. Key points that make them stand out is they have good retention and promotion of internal staff, very close collaboration with senior decision makers and a wide portfolio focus on pharmaceutical products. Despite being a young company, they are highly profitable and have considerable capital behind them, hence despite a start-up feel, they have a lot of stability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Bringing in deals and help in discussions to help expand EU portfolio (Looking at major equity investment over the next 3 years)
  • Due diligence and project management of business operations
  • Part of senior management team and business operations
  • Help in alliance management and program management activities
  • Key involvement in carve out opportunities

Key Requirements:

  • 15+ years experience in Pharmaceutical business development and senior management
  • Proven experience in Pharma carve outs and sourcing of deals for products/companies
  • Proven experience in branded or innovative pharmaceutical rx business development
  • Recent deal sheet/summary of buy-outs/mergers and in licensing for EU Pharma
  • Ideally P&L experience
  • Recent experience in aquisition of post marketed products in Europe (Rx)
  • Fluency in English
