Help Improve Social Work Practice

A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Manager to join their Children's services in the capacity of a Principle Social Worker

  • This is an excellent opportunity to take on a more strategic role which encompasses most areas of Children's Social Work providing candidates the essential skills and experience to take the step into senior management. Working directly with the operations director you will have the support in place to help you transition from a traditional management post.

    Due to the location and the changes that are occurring in the Local Authority, Social Workers carry one of the most diverse caseloads in the country and cases are usually complex in nature. This unique caseload make this Local Authority an exciting place to work with unique challenges and the opportunity to work with client groups that are usually not found in other areas. As the Principle Social Worker you will have the opportunity to work with a very very broad range of client groups.

    The role has a major strategical component and you will have the opportunity to take part in discussions with the senior management team where your contributions will help shape the future practice within the Authority
