One of our clients is looking for a recent graduate with a PhD in the material sciences. To be more specific, someone who has been to a university in the USA. Why you ask? Because you will be working closely with universities all over the USA in this position. You will be a business development manager for the USA. This means you'll be based in Cambridge in the UK, but from time to time you will travel to the US to meet with potential clients. If you like travelling, and loved your time at an American University, then this opportunity is just for you.

You will be selling a very specialised piece of software. As it's highly specialised, there's not a lot of companies out there offering a product like this, and none that offer the amount of customization that you do. You will have all the tools to your disposal to become successful, but most of all, you will become an expert in the field of material science. This is mostly due to your constant interaction with teachers and lecturers in this subject, and the more you interact with them, the more you learn from them.

The position is located in Cambridgeshire in the UK, and relocation support will be available for the right candidate.
