The role

In conjunction with the Chief Investigators the appointee(s) will be responsible for supporting the different components of the ARC funded project Developing classroom norms of inquiry based learning in mathematics including organising and driving the fieldwork, data collection and other associated project outputs.

The person

Applicants should possess qualifications in a field related to education. You should have excellent general research skills, a strong background in qualitative and quantitative data gathering in an educational setting, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to work with multidisciplinary research teams. Applicants should have the ability to travel to sites other than the UQ St Lucia campus to carry out data collection.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a fixed term, full-time or part-time (job share) at HEW Level 6 until 28 February 2019 with the potential for extension. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207 - $79,964 p.a. (full-time equivalent), plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $86,822 - $93,558 p.a. (full-time equivalent)).
