Psychologists - young people crisis intervention

Are you a qualified Psychologist passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people facing crisis?

My well-established client based in Shropshire has plans to expand their service and are on the lookout for Psychologists like you to join their professional, dedicated and caring multi-disciplinary team. Band 7 and Band 8a roles available.

You'll be valued for your:

- assessment of young people in short term care including making recommendations for their future

- clinical support to meet therapeutic needs whilst in placement (short and long-term)

- consultation with care staff and other agencies

Reduced travel time:

You'll appreciate the freedom to organise your diary to reduce travel time and work from one base. Daily travel ranges from 30-60 minutes, meaning you can focus on your work rather than on the road!

Allocated training budget:

You'll be given an allocated training budget enabling you to attend conferences and events of your choice for your CPD. You'll be confident knowing you have ongoing encouragement and support to further your skillset and enhance your career prospects.

To be considered, you'll need:

- a Doctorate in Clincial/Counselling/Forensic Psychology (HCPC registered)

- an integrative and broad therapeutic approach (e.g. CBT, DBT)

- experience with children and adolescents, ideally in residential care

- a driver's licence with access to a reliable car

- enhanced DBS check (I can assist you with this if needed)
