 Go Higher West Yorkshire (formerly HEART), a consortium of 12 Higher Education Providers in West Yorkshire, is looking to appoint a confident and capable individual to support the research and evaluation of our HEFCE-funded National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP).NCOP seeks to identify and address issues around progression to Higher Education for young people living in areas where progression is low overall, and particularly low when GCSE attainment is taken into account. Part of our funding requirements involves the delivery of robust research and evaluation of our outreach activity, evidencing impact to show what works. You will be responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Research and Evaluation Team. .This will be a varied and rewarding role, which will include assistance in organising meetings, workshops and training events, and supporting the development and delivery of research and evaluation across a wide range of outreach activities. You will also assist with the monitoring and tracking of NCOP participants using the HEAT (Higher Education Access Tracker) database. You will be the first point of contact for queries from a wide range of stakeholders.You will be required to work accurately with attention to detail, with excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for working in the area of Widening Participation Research and Evaluation.The post will be based in the Go Higher West Yorkshire team, located on the University of Leeds campus, but may require the holder to work on a flexible basis, including travel to alternative locations and some evening/weekend work.
