As a key member of the Public Engagement team, you will play an important role in facilitating the development of engaged learning. You will make a significant and growing contribution to developing opportunities for students to work on live projects with partners in the city. You will be joining the University at an exciting stage of shaping the curricula in a way that will enable students to develop their professional skills in a real world setting. You will work with academics, students, community and other organisations in the city to develop meaningful projects that provide value for all involved. As such, you will have experience of working with students, community and other organisations. You will also have highly developed negotiating and facilitation skills and a positive attitude that favours new ways of working.

You will possess good organisational and IT skills as you will be developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating new initiatives, generate reports and management information for a range of groups and committees. A key contributor to Bristol Futures, you will work with other university department to develop opportunities for student engagement.

This role is offered on a full-time basis fixed-terms contract, until February 2019, or the earlier return of the current postholder from maternity leave.
