NonStop's client, based in the Tees Valley region North East of England, is looking for Fully Qualified Social Workers to join their Assessment & Child Protection Team.

This is a full time permanent opportunity offering up to £34,000, depending on experience, in a local authority with one of the most outstanding training and development programmes in the region. Their rolling training programme is linked up with university so they are constantly introducing new sections to the programme, offering you continious development and access to the latest training & concepts that are being introduced, so you will consistantly learning and improving your practice troughout you career here, opening up to opportunities to step up to the next level in your career.

The trainings offered are both internally led by the management team, as well as external trainings too, offering you a much wider range of options to choose from. There are also online courses so you will have the opportunity to develop you skillset where ever, whenever.

On top of that you will have access to training of other areas within the social care services so if you're looking to take your career in a different direction or want to try something new you can do so, and gain the key skills required to work in the desired team and later move across.

Your Role:

The role on offer will be part of the Assessment & Child protection team with a mixed caseload of between 20-25 cases with a 8 week rolling duty offering you enough time to cover you cases without feeling under pressure. Your caseloads will vary between the following:

  • Initial Assesments
  • Child protection
  • Court Work
  • Children in Need
  • Looked After Children

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant Degree
  • Post qualification in the UK experience
  • Court Work experience
  • HCPC registration
  • Full Clean driving license

Those with extensive experience may also be considered for a more senior role, meaning instant progression and a higher income.
