The Graduate School of Health (GSH) plays a significant role in the strategic development of UTS as the University expands its research strength and degree offerings in Health. GSH is focused on postgraduate education and research.

We seek an outstanding leader who will work with the Dean of Health to achieve UTS's vision of becoming a leading public university of technology recognised for our global impact.

The Head, Graduate School of Health is accountable to the Dean of Health and provides academic leadership and management of the School in order to maintain and enhance its teaching, research and external engagement activities and actively contributes to the strategic management of the School. The Head will provide clear leadership vision, creating a culture of excellence that is consistent with UTS values.

We seek a person with high level, sophisticated leadership experience in a large, complex and dynamic institution.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a compelling vision for the future of the health professions and the role of the Graduate School of Health in shaping that future.
• Offer an established academic reputation in a current or future discipline relevant to the Faculty, or equivalent professional activities and experience in the advancement of knowledge at a national or international level.
• Have the capability to build  effective and productive relationships internally and externally by engaging with student organisations, the professions, academic colleagues and administrators at UTS and other tertiary instiutions, business, industry and government at Local, State and Federal levels.
• Be able to drive change and engage others in UTS's vision.
