Supervisor, Operating Room

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• Perform and monitor OR procedures independently according to the procedures manual on a daily basis to ensure timely preparation of the final reports
• Assist in teaching / training of junior staff and trainees according to guidelines provided as and when required
• Follow and implement  safety standards according to Operating Room Manual on daily basis required for own safety and for the safety of others
• Work independently as specialty lead and liaison with Surgery SLC, Anesthesia specialty lead and OR Management

Requirements

You should have:

• A Matrictulation from an accredited school, Intermediate degree would be preferred
• Diploma in OT Technician and possess a certificate from Sindh Medical Faculty
• 3 to 4 years of experience as OR Technician or 6 to 7 years of relevant experience at a hospital 
• Thorough knowledge of OR procedures
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of latest developments in the medical technology field
