Global Clinical Operations Director, Greater Zurich Area, expanding operations, coverage for key new clinical trials within the business

I'm currently on a search for a clinical director/head to lead a range of new clinical trials that are in motion for an upcoming biotech company. The company are already global, but are in the process of up-scaling their operations in Switzerland. What makes the role stand out to me is it is new, it will be building many of the operations from the beginning and it will evolve over time. The team overall are very hands on, commercially minded and multicultural. It's a good role for someone who wants to build, to be flexible and be part of a scale-up/start-up type atmosphere. This will present challenges that would be ideal for someone who wants to make their mark.

Key Responsibilities:
* Coverage of clinical operation strategy and implementation
* Setting up processes and SOPs within the team
* CRO/vendor management of trials including new partnerships and present
* Budget responsibilities
* Part of the management team

Key Requirements:
* Proven ability and track record in clinical operations
* Broad regional experience for EMA and ideally APAC, CIS, US
* Life science degree
* Proven experience in management and leading vendor operations
* Experience working within a CRO is highly desirable
* Fluency in English
* We are open to candidates who will relocate within Europe
