Job Details
This is an exciting and meaningful role, where you will:
Be designing and delivering innovative solutions for the University's Enterprise desktop and software requirements, supporting the University's world-leading research and teaching.
Be one of the University's senior systems engineers for the Desktop Infrastructure, setting the expert standards and coaching colleagues to deliver those standards.
Be helping to set the IT strategy for, and developing and implementing the continual improvement of, the desktop experience for our large user community of 30,000 students and staff.
The role involves a broad variety of requirements and technologies. We are particularly seeking individuals who have significant experience in:
Operating System and Update Deployments (eg SCCM, Azure, Intune)
Windows Server and Client Administration (eg AD, GPO, Powershell)
Remote Provision (eg Remote Desktop Services, VMWare Horizon)
