Job Details

We are seeking to appoint a lecturer in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Southampton.

You will play a key role in the MSc in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care, which recruits both part-time and full-time students both nationally and internationally. The successful candidate will have (or be near to completing) a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in a relevant discipline, a research agenda, the ability to undertake original research, the potential to lead a research group, and to engage with teaching and academic supervision. A commitment to excellent teaching is a must.  It is anticipated that your research and teaching interests will complement one or more of the programme's areas of focus: leadership, healthcare policy, organizational development, decision making/analysis, governance, implementation science, or informatics. We welcome applications from both healthcare and other disciplines who wish to apply their knowledge and experience to health and social care settings.

The Appointment will be full-time and open-ended.
