Job Details

An opportunity has arisen within the University of Bristol occupational health service for an occupational health nurse to join an established team. This is an exciting and varied role which would suit either a registered nurse wishing to commence a new career within the area of occupational health or an experienced occupational health clinic or screening nurse.

We provide occupational health services to staff and some student groups within the University. As a member of the occupational health team your role will primarily involve carrying out immunisations, venepuncture, health screening and health surveillance programmes for both staff and students under the direction of the Occupational Health Manager in compliance with service protocols. You will also be involved in coordinating and delivering wellbeing initiatives in line with University and service strategy.

You will be a registered nurse with experience of administering vaccinations and venepuncture. You will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to work as part of a team and independently. This is a part time role 17.5hrs per week covering Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We would welcome applicants who have worked in an occupational health setting before, however relevant training will be provided if required.

For further information or an informal discussion about the role please contact Aimee Grey aimee.grey@bristol.ac.uk or 0117 3317655.

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Tuesday 19th February 2019.
