A fast paced and rapidly growing diagnostics company are currently searching for a Picker/Packer to join them for a 1 year contract at their freshly renovated site just outside of Cambridge.

As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for handling and categorising all materials used for the manufacturing of diagnostic products that are essential in the development of cancer treatments. You will put your strong communication and interpersonal skills into use through working closely with other departments to ensure the correct handling and distribution of materials, as well as coordinating with external suppliers and tracking all orders/deliveries.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates with a little bit of experience who are keen to step into industry and work for one of the fastest growing diagnostic companies within Europe. Previous experience in the diagnostics experience isn't required, therefore those who enjoy working in highly regulated industries who would like to learn something new are certainly encouraged to apply.

As a Picker/Packer, you will be expected to bring the following skills:
* Some previous experience handling materials/inventory control within a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial
* A scientific background or experience in a related discipline is beneficial but not essential
* Experience with ERP & SAP systems
* Good communication skills and previous experience working in a fast paced environment
* Preference will go to candidates who are able to begin a new contract position at short notice just outside of Cambridge

The ideal entrance date for this position will be mid-February, however there is some flexibility regarding this. Please note that this role is currently being offered as a 1 year contract with a strong potential for it to extend.
