Registered Fostering Manager
An reputable, therapeutic Fostering Agency is looking for a Registered Fostering Manager to manage their service in Kent. The successful applicant will be joining a small and stable team that puts a real focus in the quality of its foster placements rather than the quantity.
To be considered you will be a Qualified Social Worker who has worked at a least Team Manager level within an Independent Fostering Agency or Charity. You will have extensive knowledge of Fostering legislation and procedure.
As Registered Fostering Manager your key responsibilities will be:
* To facilitate the growth of the region
* To ensure that company policies, procedures and directives are adhered to
* To monitor the recruitment and approval of foster carers consistent with current regulations
* Ensure foster carers have the necessary information and resources to enable them to carry out their work
* To provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly information required by the Director within agreed timescales
* To liaise with local authorities with a view to the discharging of young people with foster carers
