Job Details
The successful applicant will have a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and/or other postgraduate qualifications and experience in statistics or another relevant discipline (recent Master graduates welcome). The successful applicant will also have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to travel occasionally within the UK.
The employing organisation is the University of Southampton which offers a competitive salary, pension scheme and other benefits. The post is offered on a one year fixed term contract in the first instance with the expectation of further extension. The post is offered full time but part time may be considered for the right candidate.
The SCTU is part of a strong research environment in Southampton which includes the Cancer Research UK Clinical Centre, Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre, Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility, NIHR BRU and Centre for Cancer Immunology.
