Functional Safety Specialist - growing company
Introduction
We are working with a rapidly evolving and growing automotive company that are looking to expand their team with a Functional Safety Specialist. This will be a chance to become a specialist in the automotive industry and really focus on powertrains, interiors and chassis. The company is expanding giving great career growth opportunities for the right candidate as well as travel across Europe allowing you to sharpen your language skills.
About you:
* Strong knowledge of ISO 26262
* Degree in Automotive, software or Electronics Engineering
* Experience with matlab/Simulink
* Knowledge of powertrain systems
* English and Dutch language skills, German is a plus
* Excellent report writing and presentation skills
* Knowledge of system engineering processes
You will be responsible for mainly the powertrain systems and meet the agreed cost, operational and quality requirements. You will be communicating between various teams such as engineering and projects teams as well as clients and suppliers. Other responsibilities include preparing system and component specification documentation.
