Post-doctoral Fellowship in Epigenetics of Neurological Disorders

The Molecular Genetics Laboratory of the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) provides a post-doctoral fellowship of FAPESP for a two-year period in the area of ​​molecular genetics for studies of epigenetics in neurological diseases. The emphasis will be on epilepsy and stroke.

To do this, the approved candidate will use the following techniques: large scale DNA methylation study (methyloma), histone modification and others.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed their PhD and have proven experience in the above-mentioned techniques, as well as bioinformatics expertise in interpreting new generation sequencing data.

The candidate must present at least one scientific publication in international journals as the first author.

The vacancy is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The selected candidate will receive FAPESP Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the amount of R $ 7,373.10 per month and Technical Reserve equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the scholarship to meet unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
