Job Details

This exciting and creative role is based in the University of Bristol's marketing team, responsible for leading and coordinating the University's marketing activities in support of our ambitious growth plans, student recruitment and the enhancement of our globally renowned reputation. 

This is not your typical in-house role; you will be responding to briefs, pitching ideas and concepts, pushing the creativity of our design output for a huge variety of internal clients and projects. You will also be responsible for developing new, engaging visual content for the University's communications and marketing channels and will lead on the design, production and management of visual assets for our varied omni-channel projects and campaigns. You will ensure that our content is maintained and kept up to date and will be responsible for continually monitoring our activities in order to evaluate effectiveness. Therefore, you will possess a strong portfolio of work showcasing a thoughtful creative approach to your design from concept work through to delivery. You will have a degree in graphic design or visual communication, and will be confident speaking to clients, discussing and presenting design concepts and ideally have experience of brand architecture within a large organisation, either from an in-house or agency position.

A key point of contact for advice and information on our brand guidelines and visual identity, used to working in a pacy environment and juggling many different projects and priorities you will be responsive, flexible and confident when communicating both internally and externally. Working closely with a team who commission content for campaigns, web, advertising, social media, events and print this role plays a crucial part in ensuring relevance and cut through with our prospective and existing student audiences as well as in supporting our reputation as a prestigious Russell Group university.
