Registered Midwife (Inpatient), Service Line - Women's Health Care

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Introduction: The Service Line - Women's Health Care offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services for women including high risk obstetrical care, infertility, foetal assessment, routine obstetric, reproductive endocrinology, gynaecological oncology and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of routine gynaecological disorders.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• provide safe, competent, individualized nursing care to patients with care needs ranging from basic to complex
• impart patient / family education
• plan health teaching sessions for patients / families according to their learning need assessment.

Requirements

You should have:

• a Diploma in Midwifery from an accredited school of Nursing & Midwifery with a valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
• preferably with one year of experience
• competence to plan and deliver care to patients with a variety of complex care needs
• good interpersonal skills
• willingness to work in shift duties (morning, evening and night).
