Job Details

The University of Bristol seeks to appoint an Operations Manager to our Research and Enterprise Development (RED) division.

The University of Bristol is one of the top research Universities in the UK and a leader in global discovery.  We also build on our research to deliver benefit and impacts for society and the economy.  Research and Enterprise Development (RED) supports these aims, providing professional support and advice to a wide range of users, within the University and externally.  This is a pivotal role within RED, providing high level support to the Director and the senior management team in RED, managing our administrative team and having responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of this Division.

You will be joining a large team of professionals operating in a fast moving and vibrant area of the University, and will have responsibility for a range of processes, requiring excellent organisational skills, the ability to deal effectively with competing priorities, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.  The role involves frequent contact with University senior managers, academics and professional services colleagues.

You will have significant experience of working at this level, ideally within a large, complex organisation.  You must also be able to clearly demonstrate the ability to work independently, proactively and to remain calm and responsive under pressure.

For any informal enquiries please contact Dr Neil Bradshaw - Neil.Bradshaw@bristol.ac.uk

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 3rd March 2019.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world's leading universities.
