Head of Supply Chain for Europe

Head of Supply Chain for Europe, growing pharma company with strong plans for Europe. The role will require someone who can work well with global sites and operations and manage a team across Europe.

I am looking for an experienced pharmaceutical supply chain expert to join a growing European pharma business which has a significant global supply chain. Critical to this role will be managing end to end supply chain operations from global manufacturing sites and providers to getting the products to hospitals in Europe. It's still a company that has a smaller pharma feel to it and we certainly need someone who is flexible, determined and commercially minded as this role will have significant growth targets and it will be certainly challenging. Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in end to end pharma supply chain, we have a preference for candidates from generics who have experience dealing with manufacturing providers
* Experience in managing EU supply chain operations and working with global providers
* Good understanding of GMP and pharma manufacturing
* Proven leadership experience
* Fluency in English
* Good tenures in recent positions

I do expect this role will receive a lot of attention; as such we will need to be strict in the selection process. We cannot consider candidate from other industries or candidates who are currently not in the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities:
* Leading a supply chain team across Europe and delivering on supply chain needs and goals
* Working closely with global teams to ensure efficient, cost effective and timely solutions
* Working closely with EU manufacturing sites and providers
* Helping to maintain and set in place new SOPs
* Provide key strategic help to country affiliates

Location Factors: The candidate will need to be based in Cambridge (or relocate). Alternatively we can consider candidates in Zurich or Munich. Home based cannot be considered.
