Job Summary
Established 30 years ago, my client is a civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering Consultancy and is now looking for a bright geo-environmental consultant to join their lively team. This company works on multi-storey, steel and concrete framed structures projects; ranging from multi-million pound nuclear manufacturing facilities through to commercial offices, institutional and industrial buildings, residential properties, hotels, and leisure centres. They have a team of 6/7 people in their open plan and inclusive office and pride themselves on their fun office environment. Really emphasising their care of the well-being of their staff, they also have their own company wellness centre to help you deal with stress and they also allow working from home. This role will be a mix of site based and office based duties, allowing for variation on location as well as the types of projects that you will be working on.

Key responsibilities include:
* Phase 1 Desk studies
* Planning and undertaking of preliminary site walkovers and site monitoring.
* Undertaking and supervising Site investigations
* Intrusive site investigations interpretative and factual report writing.
* Qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
* Preparation of risk assessments to support Health and Safety.

Knowledge and Experience required:
* BSc in Engineering geology or relevant degree.
* 1-2 years relevant experience
* Knowledge of contaminated land and land reclamation.
* Hold a clean driving license.
