Improvement Project Manager - Free Accommodation - Start ASAP - South West England

I'm currently on the look out for an exceptionally experienced and committed Improvement Manager to join a Local Authority on their Children's Services Improvement project!

The details of what the posts are for are as according below:

The aim of post one will be:
* Improving management oversight and supervision by team managers in SAT, SAFS and CLA
* Delivering team and service level focused remedial training to address specific gaps in knowledge and understanding with the aim of improving the consistency of assessment, intervention and planning.
* Providing coaching and mentoring to improve permanency planning through improved pre proceedings assessment and intervention work, and court documentation
* Supporting the Managers in ensuring the recently revamped ASYE programme is delivered to encourage retention and development of highly skilled staff

The aim of post two will be :

* To support the focus on embedding signs of safety
* Providing mentoring outlined in the proposal including modelling mappings
* Managing the Workforce development team

Both candidates will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* working within a SoS practice model
* leading on practice improvement in both first line managers and social workers
* delivery of training

They are looking for experienced candidates in the above two fields to take lead working directly with the Head of Service in this project. In exchange they will offer £41ph as a pay rate but also up to £150 per week accommodation allowance so that you won't have to pay to stay away.

Successful candidates will have management experience over 5 years in Frontline managerial positions and have extensive experience in working with Coaching, Mentoring, Supervision, Improvement and Signs of Safety.
