A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Assessment team in the capacity of a Senior Practitioner.

• Duty is every 6 weeks so loads of time to clear off your cases

• Will have a controlled caseload as the role is focused around the support of Social Workers

This is an excellent opportunity for those candidates who are keen to progress and take on a more senior post as the hiring manager is welcoming applications from Social Workers with Referral and Assessment experience. To help support your development you will be provided the training but more importantly you will also be given the time in order to complete the modules required.

This is a vacancy which is within a stable team that is established and doesn't have a high turnover of staff. As the Senior Practitioner you will have a controlled caseload and will be supporting your colleagues with some of their complex cases which currently include Parental Mental Health, CSE and Missing Children. You will also have the opportunity to work autonomously as the manager doesn't micro manage. Furthermore you will be given the equipment necessary to enable you to work from home.
