A Local Authority which is based near London is offering excellent rates for experienced Social Workers in their Children in Need/Child Protection services
Highlights
Excellent rates of pay offering the best in the region
Ongoing contracts
Will be provided free parking
Caseloads are around the 20-25 region
Will be initiating Care Proceedings but then will hand over case to dedicated Court team
Telephone interviews are being offered
Will have the opportunity to take on training modules usually reserved for permanent staff
This is an excellent opportunity to take on an assignment which provides high rewards whilst providing security making it an ideal assignment for those candidates who are looking for stability whilst receiving a high rate of pay. Caseloads in the team are around the 25 mark, although this is forecasted to drop as more locums are drafted into the team. As you will be required to drive in this role you will have access to free parking throughout the authority making it significantly easier to get around and complete visits.
The team is managed by a manager who is supportive but also offers their staff autonomy. you will not be micro managed in this role and will be able to get on with your Social Work. Furthermore you will be given the equipment necessary to enable you to work from home and remotely when necessary.
To be considered for this post you should have extensive Court Work experience. You should also have access to a vehicle.
