Job Details
To assist in research (by carrying out data collection, analyses and presenting results) to create knowledge through providing research support for projects that relate to patient and parent/carer views on paediatric medicines. To contribute to publications on the area of paediatric medicines. This post holder will support the research of the existing paediatric medicines team, by assisting with research involving parent/carers and children as well as exploring different pharmaceutical options to improve patient-centered outcomes.
Person Specification
- Degree or equivalent in relevant subject area (this may include psychology, pharmacy or any related discipline)
- Practical experience of applying the relevant skills and techniques associated with research involving young people and their carers'.
- Particularly important is previous experience of working with young people in the context of medical research.
- Sufficient knowledge of the ethical issues that underpin research involving young people and their families, to enable delivery of research projects
- Ability to analyse information and communicate effectively; particularly with young people and their carers
- Ability to access and organise resources successfully
- Ability to work to fixed deadlines
- Ability to work as a member of a team
