Job description

The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Associate, Department of Medicine. 

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

  • manage Department of Medicine's Post Graduate Medical Education Residents/Fellows
  • manage recruitment process of Post-graduate Trainees with Programme Directors
  • develop and maintain complete record & files of Post-graduate Trainees
  • develop and prepare monthly evaluation forms of all specialties 
  • organize in-service exam and teaching sessions of all PGMEs of Medicine Department 
  • supervise all Postgraduate Trainees leaves and their record
  • organize annual performance appraisals of all postgraduate trainees in the format of summative
  • organize Direct Observation Procedural Skills (DOPS) course 
  • organize Annual FCPS/MRCP II Course Workshop, Appreciation Evening, Research Day and PGME-UGME retreat
  • place orders of office supplies as necessary and process purchasing of such items through PeopleSoft
  • arrange, organize and checks for documentation files associated to JCIA audit.

 

Requirements

You should have:

  • Bachelors degree, Masters would be preferred minimum of 3-4 years of related experience
  • excellent organizational skills & discretion with confidential information 
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skill 
  • financial, statistical and analytical management / technically competent
  • good knowledge of use of computer and basic software / programmes
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure
