Job Details

Did you know that and average of 30kg of rubber goes into the building of a car? In 2017 alone, 70 million cars were produced and sold with that figure set to grow an average of 3.3% each year!

I'm currently working with a leader within synthetic rubbers who have just become and independent subsidiary of a major speciality chemical company. They are going through a rapid growth phase to meet the demands of a variety of industries and in the process of setting up their independent regulatory and product safety team and are now looking for a Global Regulatory Specialist to join them on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to get involved in a company during their initial growth stages where you will be involved in a number of challenging projects. Not only will be acting as a key figure for REACh and other Non EU regulations, you will have a strong influence on the processes and procedures of the regulatory team and regulatory strategies. This means you can have a real impact on the department.

While they are financially backed by a major company, they are a relatively small company yet a global leader in their own right which comes with strong job security and the possibilities to develop your career. In addition, being a smaller company that refuses to adopt the bureaucratic inertia of their parent company, they remain flexible and nimble to market demand which further demonstrates the growth potential of the business and openness to implement change and employees strategies where possible.

Key Requirements:
* A scientific Background within Chemistry or BioChemistry
* Extensive REACh registrations and compliance experience
* Non-EU Regulatory / Global Hazard Communications Experience (CLP/GHS)
* Additional experience within K-REACh, China REACh and TSCA major Bonus
* Proven experience dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
* A professional level of French and English
