You will work closely with the Institute Director and colleagues across the campus to provide a full range of academic, research and innovation development duties for the Institute for High Speed Rail and System Integration (IHSRSI) which is formally managed by the School of Civil Engineering.

Job Role
You will work closely with the Institute Director and colleagues across the campus to provide a full range of academic, research and innovation development duties for the Institute for High Speed Rail and System Integration (IHSRSI) which is formally managed by the School of Civil Engineering.
- You will have a direct impact on these developmental opportunities for the IHSRSI by working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You will have experience in business management with the ability to initiate new sustainable academic and research opportunities and manage the startup cycle through to implementation.
- You will also have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders to develop effective relationships with companies, funding councils, other universities, and associated academic institutions.
