Job summary
Researcher in experimental nuclear physics for the implementation of the AGATA multidetector and analysis of a gamma spectroscopy experiment
Duties
Implementation of the detector as a whole and support for experiments during the 2019 measurement campaign associating AGATA with the VAMOS spectrometer and the MUGAST charged particle detector. Data analysis of an experiment on octupole correlations: according to the programming of the GANIL experiments, the analysis will concern either an experiment already realized in July 2018 in the nuclei of light xenon or on an experiment approved in the oxygen -21. Possible supervision of students and trainees.
Skills required
Additional information
The mission will be done in close collaboration with the gamma spectroscopy group of GANIL as well as the collaborators participating in the AGATA project and the experiment that will be analyzed. The experiments on which the candidate will have to provide support to the local group will take place in the experimental areas of GANIL. Possible trips abroad and in France.
