Job Details
Winchester School of Art is recognised as an international centre for research and education in art and design. For instance, 75% of the School's research activity was rated as internationally excellent or of world-leading quality in REF 2014, and, its Fashion and Textiles teaching provision is currently ranked 8thin the Guardian University League tables.
The School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Fashion Marketing and Branding to complement our existing team and contribute to our successful MA Fashion Marketing and Branding programme. We are looking for candidates with considerable teaching experience, and substantial knowledge and understanding of the fashion marketing and branding literature BE1 and research methods.
This position requires excellent communication skills as well as the capability to teach in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will be part of a vibrant BE2 teaching team, delivering lectures seminars and tutorials to students from a variety of international backgrounds.
You will, therefore, need to demonstrate an ability to work with others, contribute to the team ethos and be able to adapt to different teaching approaches suitable for an effective international student learning experience. You may also be required to work on MA Fashion Management and other PGT programmes across WSA.
As well as having the relevant experience, we are looking for a committed individual to assist with the continuing development of this dynamic programme and contribute to the School's profile. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and team working skills.
