Job Details

Job Purpose
  • To contribute to the delivery and smooth running of operational activities for Degree Apprenticeship programmes within CoSS.
  • To provide administrative support across the CoSS Degree Apprenticeship compliance portfolio.
  • This will include generating accurate data, gathered from the apprentice journey documentation, in readiness for audit inspections.

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the details of apprentices, recording ongoing apprentice interactions, and developing and maintaining appropriate data management systems for funding purposes. Such activities will include proactive follow-up with all current and prospective apprentices, preparation of the Evidence Packs and ensuring compliance, audit and data protection requirements are fulfilled. The post holder will respond to internal and external enquiries and support the Degree Apprenticeships Facilitator with the production of management information reports. In addition, the post holder will liaise proactively with employers, and the central Registry Team, Strategic Support Manager, Finance Partner, College Planning Partner, Programme Administrators and other University departments and teams.

Qualifications/Experience
  • Good administrative experience, preferably in the education sector
  • Experience of multi-tasking and delivery to agreed timescale
  • Experience of managing and prioritising workloads
  • Experience of supporting projects and monitoring progress
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role


Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office
  • Working within a business or educational environment
  • Working with regulations
